Our approach

We build with the assumption that our products operate in regulated environments, and we design toward the standards those environments expect rather than retrofitting compliance later.

  • Education & student data. Remu EdTech is designed to support institutions' obligations under education-privacy frameworks such as FERPA, operating under district governance rather than around it.
  • Sensitive & health-adjacent information. Where our work touches wellbeing or health-adjacent data, we design our practices around healthcare-grade principles for confidentiality and access control.
  • Scoped to avoid over-reach. We deliberately scope products to support—not supplant—the professionals and institutions that carry regulatory responsibility.
  • Evolving with the landscape. AI regulation is developing quickly; we track relevant frameworks and adjust posture as expectations mature.
