AI & Governance
Responsible AI Use
Our principles for building AI that is accountable, transparent, and kept under human authority.
Our principles
- Human authority first. AI supports people who carry responsibility; it does not replace their judgment. Consequential decisions stay with qualified humans.
- Purpose-bound. We apply AI to specific, well-scoped tasks—organization, drafting, routing, and workflow support—rather than open-ended autonomy.
- Transparency about the role of AI. Where AI assists, we aim to make that role clear to the people affected.
- Proportionate to the stakes. The more sensitive the context—especially anything involving minors, education records, or wellbeing—the more conservative our design and the more human review we build in.
- Accountable by design. We favor systems that produce a reviewable trail, so actions can be understood and audited after the fact.
Human oversight
Across our products, AI is positioned to assist rather than to act alone. In sensitive domains—particularly Remu EdTech's student-support context—trained professionals remain in the loop, and the system is built to surface information for human decision-makers rather than to make consequential determinations on its own. Final authority rests with the people and institutions accountable for outcomes.
